The Maces & Flails skill denotes how powerful your character is with bludgeoning and bashing instruments. These weapons are some of the most damaging in the game. It crosstrains with the Axes skill and the Staves skill.

Strategy

Maces & Flails have no special gimmicks. They don't have the reaching of a Polearm, cleaving of an Axe, and scale with strength (as opposed to Long Blades). To compensate, these weapons generally have higher base damage, tied with Long Blades.
